Privacy notice

How OX Cleaning LTD uses the information you give us through this website and by phone. Last updated 4 November 2026.

Who we are

OX Cleaning LTD is the controller of your personal information. Contact us about anything in this notice at [email protected], on 01235 376072, or by post to 72 Mitchell Way, Abingdon, OX13 6GJ.

What we collect

Please do not put sensitive information, or door and alarm codes, in the notes.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

We do not send marketing. Your name, contact details and address are needed to book a clean; without them we cannot take the booking. Prices are calculated automatically from the details you give, but this has no legal or similarly significant effect on you, and our team will review any price on request.

Who sees it

Our office staff see enquiries and bookings. Cleaners see only the jobs assigned to them: the address, name, phone number and job details they need, not your email or payment details. We use these providers to run the service:

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where they do, they protect it using the safeguards UK law requires, such as UK-approved data transfer agreements or the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

Cookies and storage in your browser

We use only strictly necessary cookies. A security cookie (oxc_csrf) protects our forms and lasts up to two hours. Staff who sign in to our admin system also get a sign-in cookie (oxc_admin) that lasts up to 12 hours. While you book, your browser's session storage keeps your quote and booking reference so you can come back from the payment page; it is cleared when you close the tab. We use no analytics or advertising cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its payment page, and Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the website.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, to move it to another provider, or object to us using it where we rely on our legitimate interests. Contact us using the details above; we reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (telephone 0303 123 1113), though we would like the chance to help first.

Our booking terms explain how bookings, payment and cancellation work.
