About ironing & laundry support
This suits households where the basket keeps growing: work shirts, school uniforms, a family wash that never quite gets finished, or fresh bed linen after guests. It also helps someone recovering from an operation who cannot stand at an ironing board. You can book it weekly, fortnightly, monthly or as a one-off.
The work happens in your home, and a visit lasts three to six hours. Most of the time goes on ironing shirts, trousers, uniforms and dresses, and pressing duvet covers, pillowcases and tablecloths. If washing is needed, a load is run and hung up or tumble dried. Towels and bedding are folded, and clothes are hung in wardrobes or put away in drawers. A basket can be sorted by colour and care label first.
Before the visit, estimate the load in baskets or items, because it sets the time you need. Separate silk, wool and anything marked dry clean only. Check which iron, ironing board, washing machine and dryer are at the property.

Ironing & laundry support: common questions
How many hours of ironing do I need?
It depends on the volume and the type of item. A dozen shirts take less time than a king-size bed set and pleated skirts, so estimate the load and choose between three and six hours.
Can ironing be added to a regular clean?
You can add up to three hours of ironing when you book regular cleaning. Book this service instead if ironing and laundry are the main job.
Do you handle dry-clean-only clothes?
Dry cleaning and specialist garment care should not be assumed. Follow the care label and keep those pieces apart from the main basket.
Is a weekly ironing visit cheaper per hour?
No. The hourly rate is the same whether you book weekly, fortnightly, monthly or a single visit.
