About window & glass cleaning
Homeowners book window cleaning for upstairs windows they cannot reach themselves, for patio and bifold doors streaked by rain, and for conservatories with green growth on the glass. Landlords book it between tenants, and small shops book it for a front window that needs to look clear from the pavement.
The cleaner cleans the panes, then wipes the frames and sills. Patio, French and bifold door glass is included, along with glass balustrades and internal screens if you ask for inside cleaning. Conservatory side glass and frames can be added. Conservatory roofs and roof windows are a different job with their own access questions, so they are discussed separately. Small Georgian-style panes take longer than large single sheets.
Count your windows and note how many are above the ground floor. Explain how to reach the back of the house, including side gates, dogs or locked gardens. Point out blown, cracked or coated glazing and old timber frames that could be damaged. Most upstairs windows are reached with a water-fed pole and are included in the online price. Very high, overhanging or hard-to-reach windows are checked first.

Window & glass cleaning: common questions
Can upstairs windows be cleaned from the outside?
That depends on the height, the ground below and how the windows can be reached. Most upstairs windows are reached with a water-fed pole and are included in the online price. Very high, overhanging or hard-to-reach windows are checked first.
Can you clean a conservatory roof?
Roof glass and polycarbonate are confirmed separately, because they raise access questions that side panes do not. Send a photo and say how high the roof is.
How much more is inside and outside?
Adding the inside costs more than outside only, and the online quote shows both. Choose the option you want to see the total.
Why does a one-off window clean cost more?
Glass and frames that have not been cleaned for a while take longer, so a one-off visit costs more than a regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly round.
